Tracy Morgan to recieve star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Comedian Tracy Morgan will soon be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The selection committee announced its annual list of stars receiving the honor on Tuesday.

Morgan joins other celebrities who received the honor, including fellow comedian Kevin Hart and rapper turned actor LL Cool J.

Earlier this month, Tracy Morgan expressed his desire to return to the stage after surviving a fatal car crash that took the life of his dear friend and fellow comedian, James McNair. “I promise you,” Morgan told Matt Lauer. “One day, when I’m 100 percent — I’m going to grab that mic and I’m never going to let it go. Never.”
