Instagram feuds between retired NBA Hall of Famers are always fun.

The war of photos with captions between Shaquille O’Neal and Scottie Pippen was no different.

Shaq kicked things off Monday, posting that a starting five of Lakers all-time greats would beat the Bulls all-time best five. In fact, Shaq said the Lakers would win by “fifty.”

We would beat em by fifty "what you think". Let me know and don't hold back

So then Scottie Pippen fired back on behalf of Bulls players and fans everywhere, noting that his Bulls won twice as many titles as Shaq did during his time in Los Angeles.

Ouch.

It’s no secret Shaq is a sensitive guy, especially about his career, so he unleashed the Instagram hounds on Pip. Immediately.

A sidekick? That’s not right, big fella.

So Scottie went to the old faithful: Shaq’s poor free throw shooting.

Easy big fella… if only you were as good at free throws as you are talking smack! @shaq

Then Shaq took it back to grade school with weird pictures of Scottie superimposed on a random woman’s face and a picture of a jacked up foot.

And then he brought up the 2000 Western Conference Finals. Had to.

Scottie’s continued the ‘feud’ into Tuesday, posting this dagger just minutes ago:

Game over, @shaq. All that's ever mattered to me is winning and we did plenty of that in Chicago…

Now we just need Jordan to weigh in on with a goat emoji.
