Azaealia Banks doesn’t think she’ll ever get a Grammy or VMA nomination, and it’s not because she doesn’t have confidence in her own talent.
Despite her album, “Broke with Expensive Tastes,” being on of the most celebrated of 2014, and despite releasing amazing videos for “Ice Princess” and “Young Rapunzel,” Bank was left out of the nominations for both Grammys and the VMAs.
“All my videos deserve VMas and my album deserves a Grammy but I’ll never get one because America doesn’t like opinionated black women,” she tweeted out, then added a self-deprecating, “Poor me.”
