The star-studded cast of NBC’s production of “The Wiz: Live!” is getting even more star-studded with three more additions: Ne-Yo, Common and Elijah Kelley.
Ne-Yo will be playing the part of the Tin Man, with Common as the Scarecrow. Elijah Kelley will portray the Gatekeeper to Oz, according to an announcement given at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Thursday.
“The Wiz” is set to air on Thursday, December 3, and with stars like Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah as well as Uzo Aduba and Amber Riley, and newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy.
This is shaping up to be a TV event to remember!
