It’s been 16 years since we got some new music from Dr. Dre, but the wait was worth it.

“Compton” debuted exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music and was streamed 25 million times in just the first week. Apple is also reporting at least half a million downloads in iTunes.

The numbers look good for Apple, which has faced some questions about whether or not its streaming service could live up to its other streaming competitors, but it was not enough to net “Compton” the number one spot.

It will be interesting to see how “Compton’s” numbers fare after the first two weeks, since the album is only exclusive to Apple during that time.
