Jason Derulo's entourage gets kicked off a Southwest flight, says he fired travel agent

Jason Derulo and his entourage were kicked off of a Southwest flight Saturday after an altercation.

The incident, accroding to TMZ, started when one of the singer’s bodyguards got into a fight with a Southwest employee.

The member of Derulo’s entourage was upset that he did not get preferred boarding on the flight and took up his complaint with an employee. The complaint turned nasty when they tried to board the plane after being told not to.

“His team requested an escort and were denied and they believed they were being treated unfairly,” an insider revealed to People. “When they voiced their concerns to the airline they were told they could not fly and proceeded on the plane anyway.”

“At that point the Southwest agent called the authorities and removed them,” the source added.

Although Derulo was eventually told that he could get on the plane, which was headed to Reno, Nevada, from Los Angeles, he instead fired his travel agent and booked a private jet.

“Had to fire my travel agent for booking me somewhere I wasn’t supposed to be, but now I’m here,” he said in a video posted to Instagram in which he shows off his more luxurious airplane surroundings.

“You can’t kick me off of this!” his friend adds in the video.
