Columbus Short got an unpleasant surprise when he went to an album release party on Tuesday night: bounty hunters and sheriffs arrived to arrest him.
Apparently, former Scandal actor failed to make a recent appearance in a domestic violence case against him, and a judge ordered a bench warrant to detain him.
In newly released video obtained of the arrest at Universal Studios City Walk in Los Angeles, Short can be seen arguing with the bounty hunters, who had apparently surprised him and made him “fear for his life.”
The bounty hunters had arrived because they were worried that Short would flee the country, and they had been told they would get a cut of the $500,000 bail.
