Miguel has recently partnered with Make Room on a campaign to “end the rental housing crisis in America.”
As part of an effort to raise awareness for the campaign, Miguel is doing “Concerts for the 1st,” which are acoustic concerts performed in the living rooms of people who are struggling to pay the rent.
In a recently released clip, Miguel performs for the Rollins family, who can be seen singing back to Miguel and even being brought to tears by the experience.

Each month, “Concerts for the 1st” are released along with a documentary about the showcased family. Other participating stars include Timothy Bloom and Carly Rae Jepson.
