LL Cool J's son arrested after brawl with club security

Early Tuesday morning, the 26-year-old son of LL Cool J was thrown out of a club and arrested with three others.

Najee Smith could be heard telling police officers, “I didn’t do anything” and “This is bulls—” when he was arrested for criminal trespassing.

Apparently, Smith, whose birthday was on Monday, was intoxicated when the club tried to kick him out after he became disorderly. He and his party fought off the bouncers when they were asked to leave, though thankfully no one was seriously injured in the brawl.

The Monday night party was billed as “one of the most exclusive in the city and is host to fashion models, celebrities, nightlife industry insiders and big spending bottle clients,” by the club.

Late Tuesday, Smith could be seen after his arraignment being shielded from the media by two of his friends, who made obscene gestures at the media. He could also be seen laughing as one of his friends spit in the face of a member of the media.

LL Cool J, in the meantime, was not spotted at the courtroom and did not respond to calls for comment.
