Well, everything.
According to Yahoo! Sports, New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher and Memphis Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes got into a “physical confrontation” Saturday in Los Angeles.
The New York Post first reported the incident Wednesday.
At the center of the altercation was Gloria Govan — Barnes’ estranged wife and, reportedly, Fisher’s current girlfriend.
Barnes had finished up his obligations with Grizzlies training camp in Santa Barbara on Saturday when he learned Fisher was at the house he shares with Govan in Los Angeles.
Barnes then reportedly drove from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles — roughly 100 miles — to confront Fisher. According to the Yahoo! report, Barnes found Fisher in the backyard.
The altercation then continued into the kitchen and an additional room. The Post reports Barnes came at Fisher but didn’t connect. Fisher was reportedly left with only a few scratches, according to the Post’s source.
No official word on if the former NBA champion will file formal charges against Barnes.
Barnes and Fisher were teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers from 2010-2012.
Fisher filed for divorce from his wife of ten years back in March. Barnes and Govan have reportedly been separated for a year. No formal divorce documents have been filed, according to TMZ.
The NBA is reportedly looking to investigate the incident, according to Yahoo! Sports.
