Good news for fans of Netflix date nights. You can now buy 'Netflix and Chill' condoms...
We’ve already figured out that “Netflix and chill” is a euphemism for ‘young folk’ to use for a romantic (often sexual) evening in, but in case you weren’t sure, there are now condoms with the catch phrase on them.
Yousef Okasheh, a 23-year-old recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, saw the catch phrase and the meme and decided to make the most of it.
“I saw a couple memes have been floating around, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I think it would be hilarious to quickly sell [condoms],” Okasheh said. “I sent the meme to my friend, and he was like, ‘Check it out, make your own style!’ and sent me to the website.”
So, Okasheh and his designer friend set up their own website, which has this product description: “I mean just look at this fkin condom m8, guaranteed if you whip one of these honeys out and you’re actually at a netflix and chill outing with your partner, you’re gonna get laid. With a functional 3D-printed steel frame and a built-in cable lock and lighting, the NF and Chill condom is the only condom you’ll need to be a douchebag millenial.”
Okasheh isn’t in this for the money, or the message, though. He simply just thought it was a funny idea.
“I saw this meme and thought this was the funniest thing ever and thought someone would buy it,” Okasheh said. “It honestly just fell into my lap.”
