According to new details recently released, the Fulton County District Attorney filed for the autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown to be sealed due to worries about safety, including the risk of harm to witnesses.
“The criminal investigation involving possible charges in this case is ongoing, no arrests have been made, and disclosure of the autopsy report and the above mentioned information at this time would compromise the integrity of the investigation and create risk of flight of possible defendants, and could pose a danger to witnesses involved in this case,” the documents, obtained by WSB-TV, read.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a judge granted the motion on September 28, and although there have not been any arrests made in connection with Bobbi Kristina’s death, there are reports that Nick Gordon, who was once the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina, may face indictment on criminal charges related to her death.
In response to the filing report, the defense for Gordon said, “Key evidence for the defense is now being delayed by the prosecution.”
Currently, Gordon faces a $10 million wrongful death civil suit in relation to Bobbi Kristina’s death, which charges that he physically abused her in addition to stealing thousands of dollars from her. He has also been accused in relation to her death, with claims made that he gave her a “toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious.”
