CNN uses LaMarcus Aldridge photo during Lamar Odom coverage, internet responds

CNN is in hot water after they used a photo of the wrong basketball player during their coverage of Lamar Odom.

On Thursday, during Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield, the photo used during Lamar Odom coverage was actually a photo of LaMarcus Aldridge, not Lamar Odom. Although CNN and Banfield have not yet commented on the on-air gaffe, the Twitter-verse was quick to roast them for the mistake.

“Congrats CNN on using the correct headshot for your story. Brilliant work by your staff,” said on Twitter user, called The Mouth.

Aldridge currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs and played for the Portland Trailblazers before that.

Odom remains hospitalized in Las Vegas after he was found unresponsive Tuesday at a Nevada brothel.

I hope CNN knows the difference between Lamar Odom and LaMarcus Aldridge but telling by their graphics it seems too difficult a task
