Kanye West surprises fans, drops two new songs

Kanye West fans were pleasantly surprised on Monday when, out of the blue, the rapper dropped two new songs on SoundCloud.

Both songs are variations on familiar tunes, with “When I See It” as a remake of “Tell Your Friends,” and “Say You Will” as a remix featuring Caroline Shaw.

These two songs are part of the highly-anticipated and yet-to-be-released album Swish.

The surprise song releases are just part of a pattern for West, who rang in the new year by surprising fans with the release of “Only One” and recently made headlines when he surprised American Idol judges by showing up to audition.
