Iron Mike just endorsed “The Donald.”
Mike Tyson dropped by HuffPost Live Monday and gave a ringing endorsement of Donald Trump to be president.
“He should be president of the United States,” Tyson told host Alex Miranda.
Miranda asked the former heavyweight champ again for confirmation if he’d be voting for Trump.
“Hell yeah,” Tyson responded.
Iron Mike continued:
Why wouldn’t anybody like that? A guy that came from where he came from, doing what he’s doing in that field, and now this is where he’s at now. You know what that means? That doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy and the people don’t know what they’re doing, that means the people are tired of what you’re doing, what you’ve been doing the last 20 years. So let’s try something new! We tried Obama, right, time for a change. So we got to change. So now let’s try something new. Let’s run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job.
Tyson and Trump’s relationship dates back to the late 1980s, where Trump was a promoter at several of Tyson’s early title bouts.
Judging from Tyson’s latest remarks, it seems the boxer is returning the favor in 2015.
