Whoopi Goldberg was on tour in Moncton, Canada, Saturday night when she had to cut her show short and evacuate the audience after her tour bus burst into flames.
Goldberg was on stage at the time of the fire when it was announced that those at the event needed to be evacuated due to the fire behind the auditorium.
Audience members said that they began to smell smoke toward the end of Goldberg’s performance, and pictures from the event show the van with smoke pouring out of its front end.
It was not immediately clear why the tour bus was on fire or what started the blaze, nor was it clear whether or not anyone was inside the vehicle or if there were any injuries.
