Lamar Odom off dialysis, won't need a kidney transplant
Doctors are reportedly surprised to find that Lamar Odom's kidneys are rapidly improving and that he will not need a transplant.
According to TMZ, doctors are surprised to find that Lamar Odom’s kidneys are rapidly improving and that he will not need a transplant.
Earlier, doctors had told Odom that his kidneys could prove to be life-threatening, and he had been in the ICU undergoing private dialysis. However, his kidneys have responded so well to treatment over the last 48 hours that he will be moved out of the ICU and taken off the 6 hours of daily dialysis.
Additionally, doctors are working with Odom to restore his motor skills, and he is currently undergoing rigorous physical therapy to repair the damage done by the strokes.
