Earlier this week, model and T.V. personality Kendall Jenner announced that she would be walking in the legendary show for the first time. Fashion super model Gigi Hadid, bestie to Jenner, is also making her VS walking debut in this year’s show.
Dunn, who has walked for Victoria Secret the past three years, lashed out on Twitter following Rihanna’s announcement that she would be pulling out from the show to finish her album.
“Feeling so much better about not doing BS… I mean VS now that Rihanna isn’t doing it also,” wrote Dunn, adding a laughing emoji for good measure. The rumor mill started churning, as fans began correlating Rihanna’s leave from the show as being a result of Dunn being snubbed by Jenner. The tweet has since been deleted.
Was Dunn kicked off the runway because of this year’s roster of higher profile models like Jenner and Hadid being offered spots on the show? Did Rihanna catch wind of this and decide to boycott the show, using her album as a cover? Is Dunn’s relationship with VS over and done with?
