Students use 'Whip/Nae Nae' style rap to learn vocab in fun video

Who said learning can’t be fun?

A video of students at Citizens Academy in Cleveland is gaining popularity on Facebook for their educational version of Silento’s hit song “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”

According to Fox8, teachers Erica Lohn and Stephanie Macek wrote the lyrics, hoping to develop fun and interesting ways to teach their students vocabulary.

Posted by a student’s parent late last month, the video has received almost 2 million views and more than 56,000 shares.
