Earlier this week, NeNe Leakes stirred up controversy when she slammed the hosts of The View after her appearance on the show.
Now, she is explaining why she tweeted out so much shade.
“If you invite me into your house, have some manners and treat me nice. That’s all I’m saying. Again, people think sometimes that you are something that you’re not just by watching you on reality TV — and I get it. I understand that reality TV may make people think something of you that may not necessarily be true. So, sometimes when you enter a room people are thinking — or they already have their guard up — or their boxing gloves up — thinking you’re going to enter with an air or attitude or something,” she told E! News.
“I just felt those girls weren’t friendly. I saw the eye rolls. I felt the eye rolls. I was there. I don’t know how much was seen on camera, but all the eye rolls and the looking you up and down, that kind of thing. I just think it’s really unfair, and it’s so unnecessary.”
In the same interview, Leakes talked about her Broadway run as well as her love for The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
