Steve Harvey’s wife, Marjorie, is still on Steve Harvey’s side, even after his embarrassing Miss Universe blunder.

While the entire Internet was lambasting Harvey for accidentally naming the wrong woman the winner of the Miss Universe pageant, Marjorie stood by him. A day after the incident, she even took to Instagram to show her public support.

“You are a Stand Up Man and A True Class Act the way you went back out on the stage on live TV and took full responsibility alone,” she said in the caption of a picture of the two of them on the red carpet.

She then went on to add, “I am so proud to be your wife! I love you.”

It was a statement of much-needed support after Harvey declared Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez the next Miss Universe instead of Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach. After the live gaffe, Harvey took to Twitter to apologize.

“I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible,” he tweeted out on Sunday night. “Secondly, I’d like to apologize to the viewers at [home] that I disappointed as well. Again it was an honest mistake. I don’t want to take away from this amazing night and pageant. As well as the wonderful contestants. They were all amazing.”

Still, it was a moment no one’s likely to forget for a long time.
