Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma just 13 months ago, but on Tuesday night, he was selected for the Pro Bowl.
According to Pro Football Talk, last November, Berry complained of chest pain after a loss to the Raiders, and a few weeks later, a mass was discovered in his chest. Following his diagnosis, Berry underwent treatment and was cleared shortly before training camp. He has played almost every defensive snap for the Chiefs this season.
