A WGN-TV meteorologist and a reporter at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport apparently disagreed about whether or not the weather was causing delays this week.
Call it a little playful back and forth between colleagues.
After meteorologist Demetrius Ivory reported that the weather had caused significant delays at the airport, reporter Tonya Francisco stepped in to say that she was at the airport and couldn’t see any sign of said delays.
“I’m just talking like I see it,” said Francisco. “You see, I’m outside. I see what’s going on. You are inside talking about some little weather maps.”
“There’s a delay somewhere,” Ivory responded. “The least you could do is just help me out.”
Later on that morning, they continued to tease each other.
“It’s not raining out here and there are no cancellations on the board right now,” Francisco said at the airport.
“Here we go,” joked Ivory. “I’m done with you.”
