Bishop T.D. Jakes claps back on Instagram, defends wearing jeans to church

Bishop T.D. Jakes is clapping back at Instagram haters who criticized him for wearing ripped jeans to church on Sunday.

When Jakes posted a picture of himself at One Church wearing an outfit that included jeans with rips and tears in them, the comments came in that he was “too old” to be wearing ripped jeans and that he was “suppose [sic] to be setting an example for your flock.” Apparently, some people had a problem with Jakes’ style.

Jakes’ response was perfect: “I certainly want to comply with the word. I just missed the one about jeans in the pulpit.”
