Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

When Ohio police started circulating Donald A. “Chip” Pugh’s arrest warrant with his mug shot on it, Pugh took exception to the picture and sent them a selfie to use instead.

Police posted the mug shot of Pugh, who is wanted for failure to appear in multiple cases that include arson and vandalism, on their Facebook page.

But when Pugh saw it, he must have thought the image was unflattering, because he sent in a replacement.

Pugh sent in the picture with the caption, “Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”

Police posted it to the Facebook page and added, “We thank (Pugh) for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the (police station) about his charges.”
