Devon Still announces daughter Leah ‘really beat cancer!’
Five-year-old Leah Still will be discharged from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after finishing the last of her cancer treatments, her proud father announced on social media.
According to NBC Philadelphia, NFL player Devon Still announced the good news on Twitter, saying, “She really beat cancer!”
“It’s crazy to sit here in the hospital know that after leah gets discharged tomorrow we are really done with this chapter in our lives,” he said.

In June of 2014, Leah was diagnosed with Stage-4 neuroblastoma, and doctors gave her only a 50-50 chance to live. After a year and a half of treatments, though, she has beaten the odds and, in the process, won the hearts of a nation.
