Ice Cube is speaking out about Straight Outta Compton Oscars snubs. The film was shut out of major actor and director categories at this year’s Academy Awards.

Straight Outta Compton did receive a best original screenplay nomination this morning; however, the film is actually written by two white writers: Jonathan Herman and Andrea Berloff.

Ice Cube appeared this morning on Wendy Williams moments after the Oscar nominations were revealed.

“I’m not pissed… I’m not surprised. You know it’s the Oscars,” Ice Cube said. “They do what they do. The people loved the movie. The people supported the movie. Number one at the box office over $200 million worldwide. I can’t be mad.”
