Hundreds gather for anti-violence rally following 1-year-old's death in drive-by shooting
They were marching for 1-year-old Autumn Johnson – and all of the other victims of gun violence.
Sunday, hundreds rallied in Compton, California for Autumn, who was killed while sleeping in her crib earlier this month.
The “Save Our Children” march was organized by the Compton Gang Prevention and Intervention Program and held in Autumn’s honor of little Autumn.
A bullet struck young Autumn in the face.

“They’re killing babies now? You know, this was my future. She was the baby, and I’m rather pissed,” her grandmother, Blanche Richardson Wandick told CBS-LA. “I appreciate everything that everybody is doing, but it still ain’t enough for me, ’cause she still ain’t here.”

Police have not arrested any suspects in Autumn’s murder. Organizers hope the anti-violence rally this weekend would help put pressure on those responsible or aware of information that could lead to her killer’s capture.
“When it comes to our babies being killed, what…is a snitch?” she said. “It ain’t about being a snitch. It’s about, `Where is your soul?'”

Autumn’s father, who has gang ties, has reportedly told detectives he believes the bullet was really directed at him.
A $75,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to Autumn’s murderer.
