A Florida man was found unconscious after having injected himself with heroin in a police department bathroom.

On Friday, Samuel Alicea entered the Lakeland Police Department and went into the bathroom. Shortly after that, the officer at the front desk reportedly heard a thump and tried to investigate. When officers could not get Alicea to respond, the got into the bathroom using a key and found him unconscious inside.

Apparently, Alicea had injected himself with paraphernalia that was left in the sink, and he was bleeding from his arm.
Alicea was taken to the hospital for treatment and was subsequently charged with heroin and drug paraphernalia possession.
