Did Russell Wilson’s ex-wife throw shade at his engagement to Ciara?
Ciara and Russell Wilson are engaged, but not everyone is necessarily celebrating with them.
Wilson’s ex-wife, Ashton Meem, is said to have changed her Twitter profile after the engagement news went public, showing off the eight-carat ring that she got from Russell Wilson back when they were engaged.  Wilson purchased Ciara a five-carat diamond engagement ring.
Wilson and Meem were high school sweethearts married from 2012-2014 until Wilson filed for divorce.

Last week, Wilson announced the engagement to Ciara with a post on Instagram that read, “She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling.”  The couple had been dating for a year.

Since news of the supposed shade went public, Meem hasn’t made an official statement but a Twitter profile with her name has a new photo and fitting bio line that reads:
“On a new journey. Haters need not apply!”
