Radio One reportedly pulls the plug on all K. Michelle's music

K. Michelle stepped in it this time.

The singer’s absence at a promotional event for Radio One-owned WKYS in Washington, D.C., earlier this month has led to some pretty stiff consequences.

Entertainment insider Jawn Murray is reporting that the company has issued a ban of all K. Michelle’s songs in retaliation.

This decision reportedly came down from the owner of Radio One, Cathy Hughes, after K. Michelle failed to show up at a special fan breakfast on April 1.

Fifty fans filled the Silver Spring, Maryland, radio station, and K. Michelle was a no-show.

Murray reports the singer wanted to get her rest instead of making the hour-long commute from Baltimore, where the nearest Ritz Carlton was located. K. Michelle stood up a fan who skipped her chemotherapy appointment to meet her, and she didn’t even know it.
