Prince health scare – admitted then released from hospital after emergency landing
Early Friday morning, a plane carrying Prince had to make an emergency landing after the singer’s health took a bad turn.
Prince had reportedly been down with the flu for several weeks and had to cancel two shows, but he wanted to perform in Atlanta on Thursday night. After the performance, he felt considerably worse, though he boarded a plane intending to go on.

The plane was not in the air for long before it was forced to make an emergency landing in Illinois, and an ambulance met Prince at the airport and rushed him to a hospital.
Prince was treated at the hospital and released three hours later.
