Arsenio Hall sues Sinead O’Connor for millions for claiming he hooked Prince on drugs
Arsenio Hall is suing Sinead O’Connor for $5 million for defamation after she said that he hooked Prince on drugs.
On Thursday morning, Hall filed a lawsuit against O’Connor for a Facebook rant that she posted in which she claimed Prince was a “longtime hard drug user” and that his drugs came from “Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s b***h).”
Hall’s lawsuit states: “Desperate, attention seeker Sinead O’Connor has maliciously published outlandish defamatory lies about comedian Arsenio Hall, falsely accusing him of supplying illegal ‘hard drugs’ ‘over the decades’ to the recently deceased music artist, Prince, and of spiking her with drugs once years ago.”
Hall has denied supplying Prince with drugs and has also stated that he has not been in contact with O’Connor for 25 years, saying instead that O’Connor is “well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts.”
Meanwhile, official information on Prince’s cause of death has yet to be released by authorities investigating his death.
