Rodney Averett, one of Martha Averett’s grandsons, told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the special occasion was even more exciting because of the sisters’ deep bond.

“Having an identical twin is something that a lot of people don’t have the experience of having, and the fact that they’re both living makes it more special,” he said.

The twins reportedly talk on the phone and hold hands often to show their love and affection.
