22 never looked so good.
Serena Williams captured her 22nd Grand Slam title at Wimbledon Saturday in straight sets. Williams defeated Germany’s Angelique Keber 7-5, 6-3.
The Grand Slam victory tied Williams with Steffi Graff’s Open-Era record, which has stood for nearly 30 years.
“This court definitely feels like home,” Williams said following the match. The win is Williams’ seventh career title at the All-England Club.
And she isn’t finished playing. Williams will join her sister, Venus, in the Doubles Championship against Timea Babos and Yaroslava Shvedova late Saturday.
