Rihanna concert in Nice canceled in wake of horrific attack

A scheduled Rihanna concert in Nice, France, has been cancelled after the horrific Bastille Day attack on Thursday that left at least 84 people dead.

The concert was originally scheduled to take place at the Allianz Stadium on Friday night as part of her Anti World Tour. Both Rihanna and Rapper Big Sean are on the tour completing her European leg of her tour.

A rep for Rihanna said that the singer was “safe.”

Rihanna was reportedly already in town when the devastating attack took place as a driver drove into a crowd and opened fire at the Promenade des Anglais, with at least 84 people killed and dozens more injured before the driver was shot dead by police.
