Grammy award-winning musician, NeYo, payed tribute to the fallen victims by singing Marvin Gaye’s hit song “Whats Going On.” The song itself was released in 1971 and inspired by an incident in which fellow Motown artist, Renaldo “Obie” Benson, witnessed police pushing protesters while on the road to San Fransisco.

Ne-Yo payed homage to the singer by dressing similar to Marvin Gaye’s “Whats Going On” album cover outfit.
