Vocal Trump suppporting NYPD cop accused of racism

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Highly decorated NYPD detective Gregory Gordon is currently in hot water for racist Facebook rants about the mayor, the mayor’s wife, black people, and Muslims – but this is not the first time he has been in trouble.

In 2007, Marie Kiell was left bleeding and unconscious in the street after her car was broadsided by Gordon. She was pregnant at the time, but she said that didn’t seem to matter to Gordon, who she said reeked of alcohol.

“He doesn’t even care if we lived, or if my child lived,” Kiell told the Daily News.

Witnesses who were there at the time of the crash corroborated Kiell’s story that Gordon did not try to help, saying that he paced back and forth around the scene shouting into his cell phone but made no move to check on Kiell.

“You’d think, being a cop, he’d try to help,” a 20-year-old woman told the Staten Island Advance. “But nope. He didn’t.”

Kiell said that she decided to tell her story when her husband saw the news of Gordon’s problems with racist Facebook posts against NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton for rejecting Donald Trump’s request to speak, among other things.

“I said, ‘Marie can you believe this is the guy who hit you that time?’” said Dean Kiell. “I thought it was karma.”

In February 2013, Gordon was also accused of shooting of an unarmed black man suspected of being about to commit an armed robbery.
