Tyler Perry offers to pay for funerals of Georgia twins who died in hot car
After two 15-month-old girls died in a hot car in Georgia, Tyler Perry has offered to pay for their funeral expenses.
Perry said that he was moved to help pay for the funerals of Alaynah and Ariel North when he saw a news report that their mother, Breal Ellis, was having trouble paying for the funeral of her twin daughters.

The girls’ father, Asa North, allegedly left them in the car on Thursday. He was seen to be panicked as he tried to cool the girls down by putting them in a kiddie pool and getting neighbors to help with ice packs, but the girls died despite his efforts. He has since been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.

Ellis was out of town visiting a relative at the time and is now grieving the loss of her daughters.
“I was with them every day and the one day I left … I just want to tell them I’m sorry. They didn’t deserve to die like that or to die, period, but I know they’re in heaven.”
A GoFundMe page was initially set up with a goal of $10,000 to cover funeral expenses. The page raised more than $22,000. There has been no word on whether Tyler Perry’s offer was accepted.
