Brianna Rollins led an American sweep in the women’s 100m hurdles earlier this week at Rio. Along with her winning teammates Nia Ali and Kristi Castlin, the black olympian¬†trio set off a wave of #blackgirlmagic tweets and viral-ready photos posing with the American flag.

When Rollins received her gold during the medal ceremony, the 25-year-old Miami native proclaimed happily, “Black girls rock!”

Rollins was apparently prompted by the Rio Olympics official who gave her the medal. The woman sounded like told¬†Rollins that “black girls rock” and then Rollins seemed more than happy to repeat it back.

“Black girls rock, they do…yes!” Rollins replied.
