Last month, Jerry Rice criticized Colin Kaepernick for not standing during the national anthem, but now, he has changed his tune.

“I support @Kaepernick7 for bringing awareness for injustice !!! As Americans we all have rights! Im hoping we all come together#solution,” Rice tweeted out on Tuesday.

This is a complete 180 turn from the message Rice tweeted out in August.

“All lives matter,” he wrote at the time. “So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin,I respect your stance but don’t disrespect the flag.”

Rice didn’t explain the change of heart beyond what he tweeted out, so we’ll just have to wait and see if he says what prompted him to change his mind.
