According to Manhattan officials, a man was shot and killed while he was walking in broad daylight on Friday.

An NYPD spokesman and sources said that the victim, a 21-year-old man, was walking down the street Friday afternoon when he noticed another man, identified as 30-year-old Koron Bailey, following him on a skateboard and attempted to run.

Bailey then fired a weapon, hitting the victim in the back. The victim fell to the ground, and the shooter then fired another shot, this time through his head. Bailey then fled the scene.

The victim was later pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
