A Georgia Walmart has issues an apology after employees there refused to make a “Blue Lives Matter” cake.

The young woman who ordered the cake for her police officer father’s retirement party, who asked to remain anonymous, initially asked for a cake with the “thin blue line symbol,” which is a black and white American flag with a thin blue stripe added in.

The workers at the Walmart refused to decorate the cake, telling the woman that “the design could be perceived as racist” and that “nobody feels comfortable decorating the cake,” according to FoxNews host Todd Starnes.

The woman then asked instead for a cake that simply had a blue line across the middle and the words “Blue Lives Matter,” which was again rejected by the workers.

Eventually, a manager stepped in to call the woman and apologize. The manager then made the cake for the woman, but she said that it “looked terrible,” telling Starnes, “It doesn’t look professional.”

“I was disappointed,” she admitted. “I go to Walmart all the time — at least once a week spend hundreds of dollars. I just wanted to make my dad a cake to show how much I appreciated him.”
