Washington’s Western reboot of The Magnificent Seven hauled in a reported $35 million over the weekend. It’s Washington’s third-highest opening of his storied career.
TheGrio.com’s Jon Kelley caught up with the Oscar winner and the film’s director Antoine Fuqua to discuss how the two continue to make movie gold together.
Washington also revealed to Kelley that while his bounty hunter character in Magnificent Seven is tough, no one will ever mess with Alonzo Harris from Training Day.
