BET releases official trailer for New Edition biopic

The New Edition Story is hitting BET in January, and in anticipation of the release of the biopic, BET has released an official trailer.

The biopic follows the story of the R&B group New Edition, which rose to fame in the 1970s and became famous for hits like “Candy Girl,” “Mr. Telephone Man” and “Cool It Now.” Following the story of Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell, Ronnie Devoe, Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill, the biopic details their journey from Boston to Hollywood.
