Martin Lawrence shares heartfelt message for Tommy Ford

Comedian and actor Martin Lawrence has shared his thoughts on the passing of his friend and former co-star Tommy Ford.

Lawrence posted several heartfelt messages on his social media accounts lamenting the loss of his “brother” ‘Tommy.’ Ford starred with Lawrence in the hit 90s sitcom Martin, portraying his affable and loyal best friend for five seasons.

Lawrence called Ford a “great man” who possessed “a positive attitude and so much joy.”

Tommy was not only a great co star but he was a great man and friend. He always brought with him his spirituality a positive attitude and so much joy. I am sad the world lost a great talent and that I lost a wonderful friend. God bless him and his family

Actor Carl Anthony Payne also posted a tribute to Ford on Instagram. Payne starred alongside Ford and Lawrence in Martin as “Cole”
