Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’ and ‘Endless’ get shut out of the Grammys

Neither Frank Ocean's Blonde album nor his visual album, Endless, are in the running for the 2017 Grammys.

Frank Ocean’s Blonde album was one of the most highly-anticipated of the year, as it was a long time coming. But neither Blonde nor Ocean’s visual album, Endless, are in the running for the 2017 Grammys.

According to Billboard, the albums are out of the running because they were not submitted by Ocean’s labels or management by the Sept. 30 deadline. Since the albums dropped on Aug. 20 and 21, the management would have had plenty of time to submit the projects for consideration.

The lack of inclusion for the albums is especially disappointing because Blonde debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and also received critical acclaim upon its release.
