Kevin Hart in talks to play Santa in upcoming Disney film

Kevin Hart is in talks to play Santa in Disney’s upcoming Christmas project, Dashing Through the Snow.

The project, written by Rob Burnett, is based on Con Air‘s Scott Rosenberg’s idea for a story about a New York detective whose relationship with his son is strained. In the spirit of Christmas, then, it is only Santa who can help the detective and his son eventually reconcile.

The family comedy is still in development.
