And so it begins: Trump supporter in Iowa arrested for voter fraud
Terri Rote, an Iowa Trump supporter, was arrested for voter fraud on Thursday, the first instance of voter fraud in this election.
According to the Des-Moines Register, Rote was arrested after she tried to vote for Trump in two different polling locations in Des Moines. First, she arrived at a Polk County Election Office to cast an early ballot, and then she went to a satellite voting location with her second ballot.

If Rote is convicted on the felony voter fraud offense, she could face up to five years in prison.
Rote’s actions come in the middle of a storm of controversy caused by the Republican presidential nominee claiming that the election is “rigged” and that supporters of Donald Trump should monitor voting locations to prevent instances of fraud.
We’ll let the irony speak for itself here.
