Mary J. Blige releases ‘Thick of It’ video inspired by divorce

Mary J. Blige has just released a music video for her song “Thick of It,” which was inspired by her split from Kendu Isaacs.

The single is the first record Blige has released since the divorce and is clearly a shot at Isaacs, with Blige singing, “You know I deserve more than this,” and “Who’s gonna love you like I do?”

The track will be on Blige’s thirteenth album, Strength of a Woman, which is expected to be released later this year. In the meantime, check out the music video below.
